If a free weekend wasn’t enough , Nexuiz now gets Steamworks support! For those unfamiliar to this game, put simply, its Quake 3 Arena and Unreal Tournament mashed together on the Cryengine 3. As if that wasn’t enough, the game’s roots are in Quake. Nexuiz was originally made on the DarkPlaces engine, which is a heavily modified QuakeEngine. And back in the day, that version of Nexuiz was actually pretty popular among PC Gamers. It’s not much of a surprise to see Nexuiz on the Steam Workshop. Sadly the CryEngine3 version of the game isn’t as popular or as free as the DarkPlaces counterpart. Lets hope that it’s addition to SteamWorkshop helps entice some buyers!
